My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Foster Writes:
Reo is a master charmer! In a new space, Reo will be curious, trusting, and friendly. The cutest thing Reo loves to do is splay out with her full belly on display! She knows she is adorable and will lay on the cuteness the more you praise her. She likes to be close to wherever her humans are and the kitchen is her favorite place because of all the yummy smells. Reo is very quiet - her sweet meows can barely be heard. She loves being high up and watching Cat TV! Reo is affectionate, but can become overstimulated from too much petting. She loves rubbing against your leg and top-of-head pets, she will warn you when she is not into it by wagging her tail and pretend biting. While her favorite past time is lounging, she also loves wand toys (especially with ribbons). Reo's whiskers are perpetually forward, always curious and interested in her environment. Reo is showing a new and adorable part of her personality each day!

A volunteer writes:
Pretty Reo is with us  as her owner sadly passed away. Reo was pretty shaken up by this very unfortunate and sudden change in her life. She did not want to have anything to do with staff and volunteers. Overtime, though, she opened up and I was so happy to see that she was not anymore at the back of her kennel, wary of our intrusions but rather on her balcony, looking with curiosity at her surroundings. I jumped on the occasion to finally get acquainted, talked to her, blinked at her and we ...made friends!(see video) Reo was relaxed, accepted my petting, head bunted and leaned. I was so proud of her! There is hope for Reo to find a new family as she is now open to start a new chapter in her life. Reo is ten year old, already spayed, apparently healthy and could go home, with you, today. So, come very soon to the Manhattan Care Center, meet Reo and take her home!
