My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winston was brought in with his female companion, Harper, by animal control. It was believed that their owner moved and left them behind. The owner contacted us to tell us that he did not abandon the dogs and that he would reclaim them but he never did. He reported that both dogs are housebroken. Winston is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He absolutely loves to play in water. Please consider Winston. He would make a great companion and friend.

Additional adoption info

Animals have to be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. This is covered completely by the adoption fee if the adopter uses one of our local approved vets. If the adopter wants to have the spay/neuter done by a different vet, AWOL will pay a portion of the cost. All animals leaving prior to being spayed/neutered require a deposit that will be returned to the adopter after proof of spay/neuter.

More about this shelter
