My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sparrow! Sparrow is a young Coonhound/Lab Retriever Mix, searching for her forever home.

Sparrow is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Sparrow is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore. Sparrow is eager to learn new tricks and games. She is at the age where training and routine are critical, so she needs the consistency, patience and love of a new guardian to show her the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must - leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training.
Sparrow won't be a puppy forever, and as she grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about her breed. Sparrow is presumed to be a Coonhound/Lab Retriever mix, however we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test.
Coonhounds are a high energy breed and need a lot of exercise to stay healthy and happy. The breed has a very strong prey drive, so recall training would be important to allow Sparrow off leash. Labs are also quite high energy, so a perfect home would be a very active home with lots of outdoor activity!

If you're looking for a fun-loving, rambunctious friend to keep you on your toes, Sparrow is the perfect match! Please fill out an application and submit it to the Shuswap branch through the link below!
