Wiggles, wags and many gentle kisses! Maybe only a tiny bit of beagle but a WHOLE LOT OF CUTE! Lorna is sure to charm you. She's doing fabulous in her foster home with house training and house manners as far as not chewing on things she's not supposed to, and she crates well for her meals and at bedtime. Lorna is definitely food motivated. She has pretty much mastered 'sit' and definitely responds well to routines, especially if there's a treat in it for her. She loves other dogs and is super playful. She still has a lot of puppy energy and does seem to think that everyone would like to play with her. Couch cuddling is a favorite activity and Lorna is probably a little spoiled by her foster daddy. She is inclined to bark when she wants her way, when motorcycles or UPS trucks have the audacity to pass by her front fence and also when someone suddenly walks into a room. We noticed a little opacity in her left eye so we took her to the Veterinary Eye Institute and they confirmed it was nothing to worry about, just a small congenital defect which will remain the same and causes her no problems. She is Heartworm negative and is ready for a sleepover with you...but you'll need to be ready to lose your heart to LORNA!

The SouthEast Beagle Rescue Inc is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new loving homes for unwanted, abandoned and abused Beagles and Beagle mixed dogs. We strive to reduce pet overpopulation by spaying/neutering our Beagles prior to adoption. We shall also be a resource to the community for information on the Beagle breed.
