My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calypso has absolutely no need for two eyes. She is parkour master, at high speeds, with no regard for her safety! She is a true child athlete, with bones of rubber and no fear. She's taken a while to warm up to other cats, but she is completely self-contained anyway. She can run, parkour, chase toys and sees other cats mostly as steeplechase barriers. She does love dogs, and she absolutely loves people! She has as much love as she has energy! She will provide years of amusement, love and entertainment for your family! All our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please visit our website https://www.friendsoffelinesrescue.com/ to fill out an application.

More about this rescue

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
