Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reserved, Affectionate, Purr-colator
Right Twix is a sweet tabby looking for a human he can trust and love. He seems to feel vulnerable when he first meets people, unsure whether it's safe to open up his heart to them. But, once he discovers you're a kind and caring human - just what he is looking for! - he warms up and becomes very loving, rubbing against you and sharing his happy purr.
Right Twix enjoys a good meal! He will greet you with a welcoming hello when you get ready to feed him. His handsome coat has classic tabby stripes and, although his sweet eyes may look a bit uncertain at first, they sparkle with gratitude and love once he gets to know you.
The cat in Right Twix's foster home hasn't been particularly welcoming. Right Twix has remained mostly calm around this kitty, but at times he can become upset by this resident cat's unfriendly behavior.
Right Twix would thrive in a low-key home where he is given a chance to acclimate. He would be most appreciative to an understanding person who gives him the time he needs to get comfortable and feel it's safe to let his guard down and be loved. Once you have earned his trust, it's the most rewarding feeling!
If you are ready to surround Right Twix with the reassurance and love he needs, he would be honored to become your loyal and loving right-hand kitty, contact us to meet him!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Right Twix, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
