These lovely, laid-back, good-tempered, incredibly affectionate boys were abandoned at a local shelter that was too full to take them, and they ended up at our house. They are FeLV+ (feline leukemia), so we are unfortunately not able to keep them because they could spread the virus to our cat. However, they are perfect for a home that is looking for a bonded pair of cats and does not have any other cats (or a home with FeLV+ cats). They have consistently used the litter box we put in their quarantine room. They are eating and drinking well, thin but not emaciated, and they appear healthy and in good condition. Likely to have been outdoor cats previously. They are the nicest cats I've ever met. We are guessing they are Chartreux, with some mixed genetics that gives them faint black tail stripes. They weigh 11 pounds and are intact (need to be neutered). Our understanding is that FeLV+ status could mean a short life or could disappear with future testing.
