My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Aspen, a youthful, lively spirit in canine form. Her energy is boundless, her playfulness infectious. She`s a quick learner, always eager to master a new trick or command. In her ideal home, she`d be the star of the show, the only pet to soak up all the love and attention. Aspen would thrive best in a home free of felines and livestock, where she can run and play to her heart`s content. Her friendly demeanor makes her a great companion for those with an active lifestyle. She`s not just a pet, she`s a friend, a confidante, a beacon of joy in every day. Aspen is waiting for a family who can match her zest for life, her intelligence, and her love for play. Adopt Aspen and fill your home with the light of her vibrant spirit

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
