Ruby is a young and playful girl, but she walks great on a leash. She listens well, and knows come and sit already. She does well in a kennel. Ruby is motivated by treats, which can come in very handy when working on new skills! She can be a bit apprehensive around new people, but it doesn't take her long to warm up. She is only being rehomed due to a change in the owner's living situation. Please reach out if you'd like to meet her or learn more!

Someone from our shelter talks to any potential adopters and discusses the dog they are interested in adopting as well as their family and living situation. If we feel it would be a good match, we approve their application and move forward with the adoption process.

We are a small rescue located in the country outside of Winner, SD. We have a limited number of dogs in our care at any given time, which allows us to work with each of them individually in order to get a good feel for their personality and the kind of family/living situation they would thrive in.
