My name is Hindley!

Hi there, I'm Hindley! I'm a soft, black, DMH male with a little extra flair--half of my tail is missing, but I think it adds character, don't you? I was born around August 13, 2020, so I've got the perfect balance of youthful energy and calm snuggles. I found my way to Wild Blue when my owner was no longer able to care for me and my siblings. I have a lot of experience with other cats and get along with them very well. One of my favorite things in the world is being brushed and petted. Regular grooming will be necessary to keep my longer fur looking beautiful. I especially enjoy when you give me a good butt rub. I'll even do a little elevator rise to show you just how much I love it! I will happily roll over and purr up a storm if you give me belly rubs. And if you're looking for a lap cat, look no further--all you have to do is sit down, and I'm there. I love settling in for some cozy lap time, kneading the air with my paws (some people call them air biscuits) and purring like crazy. I am looking for a home where I can get a lot of family time. I would do well with older kids (7+ years old) who will treat me with kindness and will give me space when I need it. I will even supervise their homework. I could live harmoniously with other cats and mellow dogs if introduced slowly and properly, following Wild Blue's instructions on introducing new pets to each other.
