My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! my name is Wressle! I'm a female short haired black kitty. I was born to a feral mama on a cottage farm near Canon City, CO. I've been handled since coming into Wild Blue Cats and am well socialized thanks to my foster parents. I love belly rubs and lots of pets. It takes a little bit to hold me but if you move slow I'll purr and snuggle. I love stuffed toys and to play with wand toys! Slow movement and start in a small space without hiding spots will help me feel comfortable faster I was a colony kitty so I would do best with a friend to go home with or if you have another cat already at home. I have been around other kitties and will need time to learn how to interact. I have not had any contact with dogs or childern. Introductions with any other pets should follow WBCats instructions and be slow and gradual. I am up to date on my vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV. I have had my vet exam, been dewormed, and been microchipped and neutered. Please note: kittens may NOT be adopted as a Barn Cat nor be outdoors unsupervised as they are too young to know how to protect themselves.

We try to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours, but we are not paid staff and still have to work elsewhere to keep our operations going. If we are not able to answer you within 24 hours, please try again or better yet, send an email! We will try to make it up to you!

Go meet their pets

You may see our wonderful kitties at our sanctuary on Saturdays from 12-4, except holidays. Some cats and all kittens will be in foster care, so please fill out an application for a home visit.
