My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meowdy! I am Volna, a 2.5 month old domestic short hair black kitten. I was brought from Texas, along with my mother and 4 siblings, when our shelter needed a little help. I am a very curious, playful little girl and love to run, jump and play. Crinkly balls are super fun and I love toy mice as well. I am litter box trained and have been around big and small dogs, as well as children. I am ready to enjoy life as a Colorado resident, it's too hot in Texas anyway! I am still a kitten so I will probably do well with gentle kids, cats or dogs as long as you follow the introduction procedures provided by Wild Blue Cats! I am up to date on my vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV, I have had my vet exam, been dewormed and microchipped and spayed. Please note: Kittens may NOT be adopted as a barn cat nor be outdoors unsupervised as they are too young to know how to protect themselves.

We try to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours, but we are not paid staff and still have to work elsewhere to keep our operations going. If we are not able to answer you within 24 hours, please try again or better yet, send an email! We will try to make it up to you!

Go meet their pets

You may see our wonderful kitties at our sanctuary on Saturdays from 12-4, except holidays. Some cats and all kittens will be in foster care, so please fill out an application for a home visit.

Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) rescue organization in the Colorado Springs area. We are committed to the No Kill philosophy and we hope to help El Paso County become a No Kill region. We currently only house cats and kittens.
