My story

"Hi, I'm Firenze! I'm a playful young DSH Calico female, born around July 11, 2023, and though I've been a busy momma to four sweet kittens, I'm ready to enjoy some "me time" in a home all my own. I'm full of energy and love to play, climb, and explore, but don't worry--I've got a sweet side, too! I adore human attention and absolutely love being petted. Whether it's playtime or cuddle time, I'm always happy as long as I'm with my people. I enjoy playing with wands, cat toys and laser lights. It's great exercise and helps me burn off some of my kittenish energy. I can handle a busy home with kids (8+ years) who will keep me entertained. Please note, I can be a little cranky with other cats. I prefer to be the star of the show, so I'd do best as the only cat in the house. That way, I can have all the love and fun to myself (and trust me, I'll keep you entertained!). If you're looking for an active, affectionate kitty who will be your playful companion and snuggle buddy, I think we'll be a perfect fit! We try to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours, but we are not paid staff and still have to work elsewhere to keep our operations going. If we are not able to answer you within 24 hours, please try again or better yet, send an email! We will try to make it up to you!

Go meet their pets

You may see our wonderful kitties at our sanctuary on Saturdays from 12-4, except holidays. Some cats and all kittens will be in foster care, so please fill out an application for a home visit.

Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) rescue organization in the Colorado Springs area. We are committed to the No Kill philosophy and we hope to help El Paso County become a No Kill region. We currently only house cats and kittens.
