April is a great gal who looking for a home. April is with our partner rescue in Louisiana but can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved applicants.

April is friendly, playful and outgoing. She is a typical boxer mix with a fun, energetic, and goofy personality. April is dog friendly! She loves to run and play. She is also crate trained. She is good with indoor cats but if cats are outside, she will chase them. Her chase is mostly play but not so fun for the cat. If cats are indoors, she will respect them. April is not good with chickens or birds.

April is fixed, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $550.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
