Hello Adopters! I’m Zita, a gosh darn super adorable 1.5 year old, 40 lb lady. You look like you need a kiss and I will happily supply many of them once we’ve had time to get to know each other. Good things come to those who wait and I appreciate being given time to warm up to people before I fully trust them but believe me, I’m well worth the wait. Just ask my foster family how much I’ve opened up since being with them.
I was recently returned after being with my family since I was a puppy (see my last photo) because I wasn’t getting along with my dog siblings, we had a kerfuffle. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy being around other dogs but it looks like I shouldn’t live with them and would do best as an only dog in the home. But the good news is, I do like cats! My foster home has a bunch but they’re snotty felines who won’t take the time to get to know me. Oh well, their loss.
More about adorable me. I enjoy car rides and walk well on the leash. I’d really love a fenced-in backyard where I can safely do my zoomies and sniff every blade of grass to my heart’s content. Loud sounds and fast movements make me nervous and because of this, I would do best in a low-traffic home with adults and older, considerate children only (pre-teen and up) who are respectable of my quirks. The easy things to know about me. I love treats and will do my basic commands for them. I am both crate and house-trained. I’m super affectionate and if allowed I’d love to snuggle with you in bed. I promise I don’t snore but I do hog the covers. I love to play fetch, tug, and randomly gnaw on a good chew toy.
My adoption fee is $415, and guess what? I’m all set! I’ve been spayed, got all my important vaccines, and I even have a microchip for extra peace of mind. If you’re searching for a loyal sweetheart to bring some sunshine into your life, look no further, and apply for BAKED ZITA at www.ehrdogs.org — I’m only a tail wag away from being yours!
