Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rita is a tabby with with gray and black stripes. She has the cutest spotted tummy I have ever seen. She thinks her world is her playground. She is so happy and ready to play. She loves to play hide & seek with her siblings. She is also independent and will entertain herself with ribbons, scraps of paper or a hair tie. She loves to curl up in my lap for a quiet little nap. She eats Iams kitten food either dry or moistened with water three times a day.

Some animals shown are rehoming courtesy posts for the current owners, and other animals are available for adoption through Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs).

All animals in the care of FRAs have their annual vaccinations, sterilization, FeLV/FIV test for cats, and a microchip. You must sign an adoption contract when adopting a pet through FRAs.

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization. FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
