My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Feather has short black hair with white markings. She is named Feather because the white mark on her face looks like a feather. Feather is happy to romp around and play. She is very observant and waits for the perfect moment to join in a game. She is fascinated by a computer screen. Feather is a lover. When she is tired, she looks for my lap to cuddle and take a little nap. She eats Iams kitten food three times a day. Often I add water and stir it to a soup consistency. She does also eat the food dry.

More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization.  FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
