Hello people, we are a trio of lovely scruffy Texas girls named Stormy, Sunshine, and Starbucks, and after being kept outside in all sorts of brutal weather and not receiving much attention we were surrendered to a “high kill” shelter in San Antonio. We are mama and daughters… Stormy is the 2-year-old mama, and Sunshine and Starbucks are the 1-year-old daughters, and we are an amazingly sweet family of Terrier mixes already dreaming of finding forever homes.
I’m Sunshine and I’m the biggest, weighing 37 lbs. I’m sweet, friendly, and kind, and I get along great with all humans and other dogs, and I don't bother the kitty cat who lives in my foster home. I’m playful and happy, and I love the water and might enjoy swimming if given the opportunity. For now, I’m having fun paddling my paws in a bucket of water, LOL. I love playtime and tug-o-war and I will always trade in playing for cuddles, pets, and kisses. I am well-behaved, and quiet, only barking when I need to alert you. I am housebroken and just learned how to use a doggy door, and will walk on a leash. My foster mom says I’m a sweetheart, a bit shy at first but warm up very quickly. I just moved to Connecticut so stop by and meet me. Just be prepared to fall in love and take me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
