My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We pulled Parker from the euthanasia list of a shelter, because he deserves a chance at a life.
Parker has tested Feline Leukemia positive, so cannot be around other cats (unless they are also FelV+).
FelV is a contagious feline retrovirus which can shorten a cat's life significantly. Until then, they are happy healthy kitties. Many kittens will fight off the virus and live a normal life, others may stay contagious, or may live a short but full life.
Parker would love a home to play and snuggle in - he's very playful and quirky!

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
