Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Chewy is a 1.5-year-old neutered male Pitbull/Boxer mix with a stunning brindle coat and a big, goofy smile that will melt your heart. With his high energy, Chewy would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can run, play, and burn off that youthful energy. He absolutely loves playing fetch and will keep you entertained with his playful antics. Though he pulls a bit on the leash, using a harness makes walks more enjoyable for both of you. Chewy is highly motivated by treats, making training fun and rewarding. He would likely do best as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the attention and love. If you`re looking for a fun-loving, treat-obsessed, and loyal companion, Chewy is ready to be your new best friend!

More about this shelter
The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
