My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Lux! I am a handsome 2-3 year old fawn boy that has the cutest underbite! Not much is known about my history except that I was a free man living on the streets as a stray. I did have a home prior to being a stray, but my owners declined to come get me, so the rescue did and I'm ready to find my forever family! I have grown very comfortable in my foster home. I am medium to high energy and although I will go from 0 to 60 within seconds, I also enjoy lounging around while entertaining myself with toys. I am house trained, crate trained, and am learning leash manners! I was with young children when pulled from the shelter and did very well with them! I currently live with a teenager and do well with her and her friends too! I met the cat at the Vet and had no reaction to it except sniffing and walking away. I live with 2 resident boxers and love them! I like to play with them but also respect their boundaries and space. My foster mom says I am amazing and I think so too! 1. Fill out an Online Adoption Application

2.Your application will be reviewed and sent to a volunteer in your area. The volunteer will contact you to schedule a home visit within one week. There is a $25.00 fee for a volunteer to come to your house for a home visit. This fee is non-refundable, but will be applied to the adoption fee when the adoption is finalized.

3. After your home visit is complete and you are approved you can begin meeting dogs. The person who met with you during your home visit will assist you in this process.
