Birthdate: 8/18/2015
Breed: One of a kind
Sometimes life really does imitate art. Take our silly, softy KEVIN. Coming from a disadvantageous situation where his elderly owner had passed on, we also had concerns about his eyes. (More on that in a minute.) We named him and his housemate Kevin and Dug (think "UP"). Just like the Disney movie (spoiler alert) Kevin ....is a girl! Gender identification aside, one thing is abundantly clear: Kevin LOVES people and craves attention and touch! She can't contain her sheer excitement to be with us and will flop on her back and wiggle and wriggle with glee, for the simple enjoyment of our gentle, loving strokes.
A marvelously marbled tabby, with oh so touchable velveteen highlights, (so what!) that her vision may be imperfect. The good news is, she's already booked for her consultation at the eye specialist who will likely be able to correct her entropion lids. What Kevin sees is this: she once again has people in her life who show her love and kindness . "UP's message is that the real adventure in life is our relationships with others, and that even if our biggest dreams don't pan out, we can find happiness in everyday love. Just ask Kevin.
Kevin is currently in a foster home. Please email adoptions@pawscrossedny.org if you'd like to meet her!
Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at https://www.pawscrossedny.org/cat-adoption-questionnaire! Once your questionnaire is pre-approved, you will be able to meet our pets. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.
**Kevin came into our care front paw declawed.**
