Picture a bag of your favorite snacks—crispy, delightful, and always bringing a smile to your face. That’s Fritos and Tostitos in a nutshell (or chip bag)!

When it comes to playtime, they are crunchy dynamite! They love to run, chase, and play all day. Though a bit shy when meeting new friends, give them a little time and patience, and they'll reveal their fun-loving personalities. Once you earn their trust, you'll discover two of the sweetest, most affectionate pups around.

Fritos and Tostitos adore treats, are friendly, and get along well with others. Whether you take them as a dynamic duo or bring home just one, they’re ready to add a little flavor to your life.

Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
