Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Penelope is a little distant from most humans, (we think she was abused) but not aggressive at all. However she ADORES other dogs. She is living her best life if she has another dog to play with and live with. She needs an adopter who understands that she will never likely be a very demonstrative dog with her human family, but will love and accept her as she is. She does let you pet her, she is just not very needy at all.

She is crate trained, and housebroken.

She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines and microchipped.

We strongly prefer all our LARGE dogs to go to homes with Fenced in yards.

OUR MISSION

APET's mission is to greatly reduce populations of unwanted dogs and cats, and to reduce animal cruelty, including neglect and abandonment, through spay/neuter initiatives and education.
We recognize the importance of education and public outreach to foster a sentiment of compassionate, responsible pet ownership.
APET also seeks to expand it SPCA-type shelter to provide refuge and adoption options for a multitude of homeless dogs and cats.
