per is ready to find her home. She’s a healthy 7 y/o, 17-pound girl who is spayed, housebroken and UTD on vaccines. Piper happens to be deaf but that doesn’t stop her from being a sweet and playful little girl. When she arrived, she was very fearful and reactive, and it took a while for her to warm up, but once she’s comfortable she will follow you around and jump up gently for pets. She can be a velcro dog and loves to snuggle up on the couch. Since Piper can be territorial around other dogs, she would be best as the only dog in an adult household. Piper feels safe in her crate and uses it as “her space” when she’s had enough family time and prefers her open crate as her nightly place to sleep. She is good with older children and since she cannot hear, a fenced yard is required,

Adopter must be a strong leader to guide Piper
Should be the only dog or have adopters willing to take the time to slowly and properly introduce her to people and other pets
