My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

10/8/24. This incredibly sweet and docile boy loves everyone he meets, totally non reactive to other dogs, walks well on a leash and is totally house and crate trained. He loves to go on long walks and then just love on his human. Would probably do well with another female dog. He is doing amazing with our awesome foster in an apartment setting but is ready to find his forever home.

9/13/24. Welcome Dominick. He ended up at Collier Shelter in Naples when his owner was incarcerated. Very handsome boy, sweetie pie, knows all commands, walks nice on the leash. His tail doesn’t stop when he see anyone approaching him. We don’t know yet about other dogs. Unknown cats.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
