Annie came to via West Palm Animal Shelter. She was pregnant but her puppies were removed & she became aggressive to all but one handler. She had been there 1week & scheduled for euthanasia. I’m told she’s 3 yrs old
Annie is a reactive /aggressive dog who can be trained with positive reinforcement training.
Annie walks well on her leash and has been trained to be passive as people come toward her when I tell her “Good girl “. She is still aggressive and pulls on her leash when she sees another dog. I take her out when she will come into contact with fewer dogs outside in my community as we all share the same circular path.
Annie gets along with my other dog but I believe would do better as the sole dog in the house.
Annie would do best in a home with a yard and games to play to keep her busy.
She gets along with dogs & humans at the dog park when she’s off her leash.
Regrettably Annie doesn’t get along with my 2 cats & I’ve kept them separate. She still barks & growls at them.
