My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Citrine is a sweet, shy all black cat with golden eyes. She is 4-6 years old. She was adopted from a rescue shelter as a kitten, and lived with another kitten for about two years in a single family home. They got along very well. The other cat developed health problems and had to go to kitty heaven. Citrine has been the only cat in the household for the last 3-4 years. Citrine moved with her human into an assisted living facility about 2 yrs ago and has done well there.

Citrine is an indoor only cat.

She is shy, but will warm up to people. Her current human has serious health problems and Citrine would benefit from more human interaction. She has no known behavior problems. She has never lived with dogs or children.

Citrine needs a new home now as her human just moved into an adult family home and she cannot go with him. The move was sudden so we are scrambling to find her a new home as quickly as possible so she does not need to go to a boarding place or a shelter.
