My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mila is a petite little pittie weighing about 40 pounds and estimated to be about 3 years old. She was pulled from a local shelter and is an absolute sweetheart. Mila loves people. She's comfortable in her crate when you're not at home and just loves being by your side when you are at home. Mila would be best in a home with a single companion animal who matches her temperament or as an only dog. She seems to mirror the other dog, if the dog approaches calmly, Mila responds calmly. If a dog approaches reactive, Mila will react is the feedback we received from the shelter. While in foster care she has need fine with the dogs she's met as well as the foster family cat. Mila will be available to go a a forever home after she's spayed. She's up to date on core vaccines and microchipped.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the application. All required fields must be completed in order for your application to be considered. It's important that we place the right dog with the right family. Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment...please ensure you have considered this commitment before submitting an application. Once all reference checks are completed, you will be notified if your application has been approved. Upon approval of your application, a "meet and greet" is scheduled. All of our rescues are fostered in loving, caring homes until we find the right permanent home for them. Our foster volunteers will contact you to make arrangements to meet your potential new family member. A home visit is required before we will place any of our rescues in a forever home. Upon completion of a successful home visit, an adoption contract is completed. Adoption fees typically range from $175 to $375..

More about this rescue

We are a rescue organization fueled by our love of animals and the wonderful volunteers who support us and give freely of their time and dedication to the rescue efforts.

3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue was founded with love and passion and is dedicated not only to the lives of those we save, but to the so many lives that are lost. We are a non profit organization comprised of volunteers who give selflessly and open their hearts and their homes, as a stepping stone to the permanent home every rescue animal dreams of. We are not a shelter, each of our rescues are cared for in the warmth of their foster homes, as we help them on their journey waiting for the place they can call their own.

We are primarily a canine rescue, pulling dogs from high kill shelters across the U.S. Our goal is to save as many lives as we possibly can and to bring an awareness to those around us of the pain and suffering that occcurs in puppy mills and the fate that awaits those thrown away to a shelter. PLEASE...Adopt...don't Shop!
