QUIET GIRL LOOKING FOR A FAIRLY CALM HOME WITH ADULTS AND GENTLE OLDER KIDS ONLY. TOLERATES HER SIBLINGS, BUT ACTS LIKE SHE WANTS TO BE ALONE. MUST BE YOUR ONLY PET. I'm the littlest cat in my family, and really cute! I often stay off to myself, preferring to be down low a lot. I do climb up higher sometimes when nobody else is around. If I had a cat tree at home, I would probably climb a lot more. Just because I stay to myself doesn't mean I'm shy with people! I'm definitely not! If the other cats will mind their business, I am a sweet little girl that loves to be pet and rub against your legs and follow you around! Have someone assist in taking me out to visit on our own, you'll see! Once in awhile I will let you know that I don't want to be pet, but usually I will grab at your hand wanting more! Watch out for love nips every so often. I've even played with some of the little toys once in awhile when others were asleep. I like playing with wand toys, so we can play with those to get rid of some of my worries and stress to make my life more fun! It will give us a chance to enjoy being silly together too! I love soft places to lay, whether it's a mat, squishy blankets on the furniture or a cozy bed. My favorite place is under the pedestal on the mat. That's where I am the most. I might prefer my beds under a desk or table if possible, or at least a quieter part of the room with you. I seem to like laying with a stuffed toy. I love getting a few treats everyday, and sometimes I will take them from you if you hold them out to me!

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
