BIG LOVABLE GUY LOOKING FOR SWEET PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, AND A QUIET HOME. A LONER, BUT DOESN'T MIND OTHER NICE CATS BEING AROUND HIM. FRIENDLY, GENTLE DOGS ARE OKAY. I'm a very mellow fellow, so very sweet and lovable! You'll fall for me right away as I come right up to you and follow you around begging for attention with big eyes that tell you I adore you! I will also talk to you some! You'll probably learn just what I'm saying over time. I'm very gentle, love people and crave attention! I won't mind other nice cats being around, or even close sometimes, but I'm not interested in snuggling or playing with them. It's okay that my sisters Jinx or Ebony come lay somewhere near me, we get along just fine! I'm large but pretty active. I'm up and about quite a bit, especially if people are around! I seem to be able to jump and climb anywhere I decide to be. I just prefer to be closer to the floor or on the furniture. Play with our wand toys with me often to help me get some exercise. I have fun playing with those, even though I don't play with other toys much. Also, feed me weight management food for obvious reasons. It's okay to give me just a few treats everyday, I love treats and sometimes will take them from you if you hold one out! My favorite place here is the lounge chair with the comfy blanket. I also like laying on a cat tree with roomy shelves, soft blankets on the furniture, and a big cozy bed would be awesome. I can't wait to be your new best buddy and give you lots and lots of love!

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
