Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tonight we welcomed Sienna (female) into our home. This adorable 10 week old shades of fall pup is still settling in and recovering from a long day of travel and spay surgery. Her sad backstory is that she was abandoned on the side of a rural road with her siblings Umber, Freddie Mac, Nat & Roy. She has been so very sweet to the adults, kids and dogs she’s met. Cats appeared to be a novelty to her tonight as the puppy pen is right across from the kitten condo. I anticipate that they will be besties before it’s over! Sienna will likely be with us for several weeks as we work with our fabulous veterinary partner to clear up the infection in her eye that has a congenital malformation and will likely need to be removed before adoption! Stay tuned for updates on this sweet girl!

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.
