My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benji, June Bug and Gracelyn are siblings. They were found at less than 6 weeks of age struggling to survive without a mom and dropped off at an emergency vet. Sweet kittens ready for the good life.

Benji has tested a mild positive for FIV. Kittens who test positive at this age are often testing positive because of antibodies they receive from their mother. As they age, these antibodies go away. By the time they are 5 to 6 months old, they test negative which means they never had FIV to begin with.

The adoption fee will include the cost of a retest when she is 5 to 6 months of age. Even if she were to remain positive, FIV is not something to be afraid of. FIV+ cats can easily live with FIV negative cats. They live long healthy lives. You can read more about the truth of FIV in this article.
