QUIET, GENTLE, VERY AFFECTIONATE GIRL WOULD LOVE A NEW FAMILY JUST LIKE THAT! GENTLE KIDS OKAY TOO. ADORES PEOPLE, BUT NEEDS TO BE THE ONLY PET. I'm beautiful and adorable and people are my sunshine! I miss being around my people very much, so I'm content to curl up on my squishy blankets all the time, hoping someone will come visit and pet me. When someone stops by to see me, I instantly get excited and will start rolling over and acting silly to show off so you can't resist coming to love on me! I LOVE being around people and will want to be somewhere near you whenever you're home! Just so you know, I LOVE SNUGGLING! I've been very quiet, with an occasional small, darling meow. What you WILL hear is my very happy and very noticeable purring when you're with me! In a new place, I can be brave enough to explore a little at a time when by myself. If people are around, that's all I need to feel better! I barely notice other cats kenneled around me, but get annoyed when they are out. They always have toys for me in my kennel and on the floor, but I walk right past them without a care. Sometimes I will play with a wand toy with someone. Encourage me to play with our wand so I will relax and become more confident. Then I will be comfortable playing with other toys and having some fun like I should! I'll enjoy having a nice cushy bed in a quiet part of the room and soft blankets on the furniture to lay on. Having a cat tree will be fun and feel like a safe place to hang out. They haven't found a can food that I like yet, so you can experiment to find something for me. I do eat my dry food. I like a few yummy treats everyday, but might eat them when you're not looking. I'm hoping you'll have all the things I love at home, but the most important thing will be the loving people there!

More about this shelter
The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
