Meet Eloise! She is a very spunky, sweet, and cuddly kitten. She loves water and is very interested any time you are at the sink. Every time I turn around, I find Eloise right there purring away. She loves to play, chase, and pounce. She especially loves kicker toys and anything she can run and play with.

Eloise happily allows you to pick her up. She loves to cuddle up right next to you or with one of her kitty friends. She has gotten along with new kitties she has met, but is more outgoing once she is comfortable. She can't wait to meet you and make yet another new friend!

Eloise needs to be in a forever home with another cat who also loves to play! Her foster parent would be happy to discuss which of her foster siblings would be a good fit. She would also enjoy becoming best buddies with a young, friendly cat already a part of your family.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
