If you are looking for a new companion for the whole family, Chomper is your girl. She is social but not as rambunctious as her other siblings, and loves to sunbathe on the couch while her siblings play. She is very much a cat who enjoys watching the world go by. She is friendly with new and familiar humans alike as well as other cats and dogs. She loves to play, but also LOVES to snuggle and be held. Chomper is the most independent of her litter and prefers to mostly be with her humans, however she would still very much love to be adopted into a home with another animal so she has someone to keep her company while her humans are away. Her siblings are Petrie (KRLA-A-7646) and Daphne (KRLA-A-7647), but she could also be adopted with another kitten, or as a companion to a cat already in your home.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
