My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aubergene aka Sage is a very sweet dog. She’s a mix between playful and chill. If you want to play, she’s down to play. If you want to lay on the couch, she will lay with you. She loves the outdoors and would be a great adventure buddy. She loves a good game of fetch and rolling in the grass. Can be pretty mouthy sometimes so if you've got young children be prepared to do some training. She is very smart and trainable.
She can be nervous around new people so would do best in a low traffic home. She's great with people she's comfortable with, just needs a little time adjusting. Loves to play with other dogs! And as much as she loves to chase the squirrels and rabbits outside- she very much knows the difference between inside and outside animals, so don't worry if you have cats or small animals because she gets along with them just fine. As long as you create boundaries in the house of what is okay and what is not, she will do amazing!

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
