Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Haven is a 51 lb., approximately 2-year old, mixed breed (our best guess is Hound/Doberman maybe?). Whatever her mom and dad were, Haven clearly got the genes for gentleness, affection, and playfulness. Haven arrived at the shelter with a litter of 2-week old pups. Her puppies were weaned and have all been adopted. Now it’s Haven’s turn. Given her experience as a super mom to her own youngsters, we believe she has the right stuff to be a great family dog with kind and respectful children. Haven walks well on leash with our volunteers and is friendly with other dogs, especially her shelter pal and playmate, Apollo, who is at least 10 lbs. bigger than Haven. She has a way of warming hearts with her soulful eyes and happy-go-lucky smile. Given her hard beginning, she will be especially grateful for a soft place to land at the end of the day, meals she can count on, and generous amounts of hugs and belly tickles. Haven is spayed and up to date on vaccines. If she sounds and looks like the kind of dog who could make your wishes come true, please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, by calling 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org (kennel license #8704).
