(DOB 3/21/2024) Meet Jet Blue, an energetic puppy who is just waiting to go on adventures with you. With his luxuriously thick black fur that gleams in the sunlight and one striking blue eye that seems to hold the essence of the sky, Jet Blue captivates everyone he meets.

His days are filled with playing with his doggie friends, chasing his tail, exploring new toys, and learning fun tricks. He is a bundle of energy, always ready to play and make you laugh with his antics. He is curious about everything and loves to show off his smarts. He’s also a sweetheart who loves cuddles and giving kisses. He enjoys lots of belly rubs too! His friendly nature makes him a great companion for anyone.

He is crate trained but will need to be taken out regularly until he gets into a routine. He is diligently working on his leash skills, but it’s a work in progress. A harness is helpful. He is working on his house training. Keeping his space small and taking many potty breaks will be essential to help him get into a bathroom routine. He’s a quick study though!

He will be sure to bring joy, laughter, and love into your home. Adopt him and create wonderful memories together!

As part of Jet Blue’s $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. 1. Review the description of the pet you are interested in to make sure that the information we have fits with your particular needs and desires. In most cases, the information on the website is current and gives the information that we have about the particular pet. The picture of the pet does not tell the whole story.

2. Complete the adoption application at https://pawsforlifenc.org. Please make sure that you give us as much information about yourself as you can. List all animals currently living with you including other dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. The application needs to be complete in order to help us determine if the pet you have chosen is a good match for your home.

3. Once the application is submitted we will contact you, your references, and your vet.

4. We require a home visit prior to dog adoptions.

5. If more than one person applies, we will go with the BEST fit. If all things are equal, we go in the order the applications were received.

6. Once the home visit has been completed, you will be asked to complete an adoption agreement.

7. The adoption fee is $325 for dogs under 6 months, $300 for 6 months and older. The adoption fee is $125 for kittens under 1 year ($225 for 2 kittens), $85 for cats 1 year and older. This fee helps us to provide the necessary medical care and other needs for the pets while in foster care.

8. All Paws For Life NC pets are spayed or neutered if old enough, current on shots, micro chipped, and to our knowledge, in good health before they are adopted out. Puppies under 6 months of age will require a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit in addition to the adoption fee and a special puppy spay/neuter agreement. Kittens under 6 months will require a $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit in addition to the adoption fee. We are all volunteers and receive no monetary compensation for our work with the pets. The adoption fee is used to help defray costs in the rescue and care of the pets.

Paws for Life NC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, 100% volunteer, foster-based, animal rescue founded in 2002 to help solve the problem of homeless dogs and cats in Franklin and Northern Wake Counties, NC.

Paws for Life NC focuses on reducing the overpopulation of dogs and cats in the community. 1. We provide foster homes for homeless / rescued dogs and cats and find them forever homes. 2. We offer low cost vouchers for spay neuter of pets in low income homes through our “SNIF” Program. 3. We attend county meetings to advocate for improvement in animal welfare.
