Meet Stevie, a 2-year-old boy who was found living outside in early fall 2024. After being fed for a couple of weeks, his rescuer was able to trap him and bring him to safety.
When Stevie first arrived, he was understandably hesitant, unsure of human interaction after spending so much time on his own. However, after two months of steady meals, a warm dry roof, treats, and plenty of positive reinforcement, Stevie has made incredible progress! He now allows himself to be petted and is beginning to crave attention from those he trusts.
Stevie enjoys people-watching and is patiently waiting for the right person or family who will help him continue to come out of his shell and reach his full potential. With the right adopter who is willing to be patient and give him the time he needs, Stevie will thrive and become the loving companion he is meant to be. Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.
Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals with a 'No-Kill' policy. Our efforts are focused primarily on finding loving homes for the many cats that are strays, abused, abandoned, surrendered or impounded. All animals are given medical attention, spay/neutered and vaccinated before placement. We are a small shelter comprised of 100% volunteers dedicated to helping homeless cats find their forever families.
