Perdita, aka Perdi, is an energetic and friendly 9 month old Dalmatian. She has spent the last 6 months with her foster parents, their 5 year old and 3 dogs. She loves all people and enjoys playing with other dogs, big and small. She is a super cuddler, on her terms, and spends a good amount of time using her nose to search for food crumbs, paper she can tear apart or a toy she can throw around. She is kennel trained and does well during the day for up to 8 hours for the most part. She does well walking on a leash with a harness and enjoys going on walks so she can sniff around and meet new people. Perdita came to the rescue with a heart murmur. She was eventually diagnosed with PDA, which required surgery. The surgery was a success and she should live a normal life without issues. She does have mild pulmonic stenosis which causes her to still have a small murmur but this as well should give her no issues.
All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting one of them just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch.
