My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala was found in a rural part of Texas pregnant dog. She was living under a blind, elderly ladies home who was unable to care for her. She was taken into foster care and had 14 puppies a day later. She was a great mom to her babies who all have homes now. Nala is curious, sweet, and great with dogs, cats, and farm animals. She has been primarily on a farm by day and sleeping on the couch by night. She will be best in an active home who can keep her stimulated during the day. She is very smart and has lots of love to give.

The adoption process typically takes ~1 week. You will not take a dog home on the same day you meet him/her.

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out, an interview with one of our volunteers (this can be done at the adoption event), a home visit is required prior to the animal going to their new home.
