Meet Merlin & Cora – A Perfect Pair

Merlin and Cora are a charming duo of one-year-old cats looking for their forever home. Though they are not siblings, they are a bonded pair who complement each other beautifully and must be adopted together.

Merlin, a sleek black male, is the life of the party! He is outgoing, confident, and loves to show his affectionate side. Whether it is curling up next to you or following you around the house, Merlin craves human attention and will be your constant companion. His playful spirit and friendly nature make him the perfect addition to any home.

On the other hand, Cora, a black-and-white female, is a bit more reserved at first. She is shy around new people but quickly warms up, especially when she sees Merlins confidence. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
