Ciri is a playful petite girl. She is the last one left from her litter but needs to have a friend at the home she is going to or be adopted with another CAWS kitten or cat. She loves to run jump and play with anything that she considers a toy. She likes to sleep at the top of her cat tree and come around for occasional cuddles, scratches, and love. She is currently getting to know her foster brother Bob if you are interested in adopting 2 cats that already know each other. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
