My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters!

Ghost Buster and his friend Avian were both found by the post office wandering by themselves. In the sweltering heat they faced difficulties sheltering and feeding themselves well. Luckily our rescuers got to them in time and brought them home!

Ghost buster is always happy to see you, his eyes shine, tail wags, and his energy boosts whenever he sees his favorite people!

Ghost buster is a little nervous when you put a leash on him, only during that time, but once its on and your moving he's a happy camper.

Now Ghostbuster has settled right into the rescue. He had an injured hip when saved but he has had surgery and has had his heartworms treated. During all this time he has started to know what a kind hand is like, some love, and real food! Now he can learn what a real family is :)

Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.

So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
