Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I'm Chinchilla! I'm a super sweet, but very shy girl. If you give me time and a quiet place, then I love to cuddle on your chest and purr. I have been through a lot. I was in a foster home and then I was adopted for 2 months. After 2 months, my adoptive family returned me, and I became even more shy. However, I am now with my original foster family and learning that new places and people aren't so scary after all. I love my foster family and do great with them because they understand my shyness and work hard with me to make sure that humans are okay. I also love playing with my kitty foster brother, and I would love a home with a playmate! I am most relaxed in a home and not in the shelter, so if you want to meet me, we can schedule a time for you to come to my foster's house. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application and my foster will get back with you.
I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Some of these animals may not be available for adoption at this moment, but you can always call the shelter at 830-629-5287 for clarification on the adoption process or the animal's current status.

Cats are $60
Dogs are $120
All adoptions are spayed/neutered, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and ticks, dewormed for common intestinal parasites, and microchipped.
Adopters must be at least 18 years old. If you don't own your residence, you must provide a copy of the lease agreement stating that you're able to own animals. We will check your animal control history and there is about 15-20 minutes worth of paperwork before you can take your animal home.
