My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Paisley, a delightful feline residing in a local shelter. This gentle soul exudes a quiet charm that endears her to everyone she encounters. Paisley's sweet disposition makes her the perfect companion for quiet afternoons and cozy evenings. Despite her shy nature, Paisley has a knack for making her presence felt in the most heartwarming ways. She's a gentle whisper of love in a world that often roars. Adopting Paisley is more than just bringing a pet home; it's welcoming a soothing presence that promises to fill your life with quiet joy and unconditional love. In our care Paisley has been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. If you would like to meet Paisley come to the Escondido Campus.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
