This litter and their mom, Toni, were found outside a rural neighborhood church. They were being terrorized by a loose un-neutered male Husky. They came to us from a good Samaritan who found them. The Husky had already killed four of the 8 pups in the litter. Our 4 are the lucky ones.
TOFU is special. She was the shyest of them all… but she has received some special TLC and she is blooming. You would never know that she was so shy. She comes to you when called... She asks for attention. She has a long body and short legs…oh so cute!! We believe she is a Dachshund/Terrier mix…DOB 5/20/24. She is not going to be very big… she will probably be 22-26# is our best guess? with short legs!!! She loves to play with other dogs and leaves my cats alone. She loves to be outside and jumps in the water pan because of our Texas heat. She still needs TLC and training but she’s coming along fantastically.
Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.

Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters.
