Jack is a former stray looking to live the good life with a loving family of his own. This big boy is a real lovebug that loves nothing more than to be around people. He will cuddle up to you and rest his head on your arm, purring and showing you just how happy he is! He has experience being around other cats, but does not seek out their attention like he does with people. Jack loves catnip and big stuffed toys he can rub his face on, and is always eager to explore and play. If Jack sounds like the perfect new friend for you, fill out an application for him today!

Approved applicants will be asked to come to the shelter to meet the dog. (Cats/kittens are at other locations to visit)

Interested in a dog? Please fill out an application at our website, please list dogs name on application or if you don't see one, please list breed/gender you are looking for. (We can place you on a wish list) Once approved we will watch for a dog for you. When we get in animal that might be what you are looking for we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the pet.

$60 Adoption fee for cats. $100 for kittens. $150 Adoption fee for dogs. $250 for puppies. All potential adopters must complete our Adoption Application.

** Most cats/kittens are located at PetSmart in Utica or PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills, unless noted **

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable cats are located at a PetSmart in Utica, PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills or a PetCo in Roseville. You can visit them at the stores when they are open.

For Dogs we are asking people to fill out an application online to get approved. Applications can be found here: https://macsshelter.org/dog-application. We will schedule a meet and greet of the dog after application approval.

We do take our dogs to different pet stores in the Metro Detroit area on Saturday's. You can visit our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/macs1935) to see where our next dog adoption event will be located. These events start at 11 AM - 2:30 PM.
