My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandy is a 3-4 month old pup who weighs 25 pounds. We believe she may be a lab/hound/terrier mix. She will most likely be a nice medium size maybe around 40-50 pounds. She is the best girl, she uses the doggy door in her foster home to potty outside and if she goes inside which isn’t too often she uses a potty pad. She is doing very well with pottying for being so young. She plays good by herself with toys and also plays great with other dogs. She sleeps overnight in a pet bed or with her foster mom. She has been kenneled when her foster family leaves for a little while, she doesn’t like it at first but calms down after a short time. She seems to be a smart girl and is very loving, and of course playful. She hasn’t been around cats or kids in her foster home but would think she will do good with both.

Sandy's adoption fee is $300 which includes her spay, age appropriate vaccines (but will still need more), deworming, microchip with registration, and current on preventatives. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply

If we find a good match for you, you can pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Adopters fill out a no-obligation contract. If approved, they will fill out a contract for the animal. Adoption fees are $200 per dog ($250 for puppies 6 months and younger) and $60 for cats ($100 for kittens), which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip registration, deworming medications, heartworm and flea preventative.

This is a small, foster based rescue run by volunteers. Please be patient as it may take a few days to approve your application.
